Sridevi was born in Los Angeles as the youngest girl with tamil actor Vijayakumar and Manjula, a popular South Indian actress. Sridevi has two older sisters, Vanitha and Preeth (known as Rukmini) and brother and a half old, Arun Vijay.
This started as a child artist in telugu films telugu with his sister Rukmini Preeth in the main roles and made his debut as a leader in Kathir's Kadhal Virus. Moving to Telugu and make it big there. Recognized by critics for her performance in AVM Priyamana Thozhi with Madhavan. Most of the very large moivies failed!
Dated March 18, 2009 was engaged to an NRI named Rahul, who came from Hyderabad and married him in June 2009.
